Central Aero Engineering was founded in May 2006 by Norm Kensington and Paul Waterhouse, who combined their experience and qualifications to offer the GA and sport aviation community an engineering service based at the rapidly growing Hamilton International Airport.

The combined experience of Norm and Paul spans nearly 70 years and enables Central Aero Engineering to cater for a wide range of specialist services to owners and operators from pre–purchase inspections right through to test flying aeroplanes and helicopters following repairs or maintenance.
